Speakers – EA Coaching Summit Series Multi Events 2025

We are proud to present an outstanding line-up of speakers for the 2025 edition of the EA Coaching Summit Series Multi Events in Växjö. The programme features internationally renowned coaches who will share their expertise through both theoretical presentations and practical sessions.

Headlining this year’s summit is legendary coach Harry Marra, widely regarded as one of the greatest track and field coaches of all time. Marra is best known for guiding Ashton Eaton to two Olympic gold medals, multiple world titles, and world records in the decathlon and heptathlon. His keynote address will offer unique insights from a lifetime of coaching at the very highest level.Joining Marra are some of the most respected names in combined events coaching:

  • Petros Kyprianou, Director of Track & Field and Cross Country at the University of Illinois, who has coached NCAA champions and Olympic medallists, will present his multidimensional model for technical development in the combined events.
  • Ronald Vetter, National Coach for Combined Events in the Netherlands and coach of Olympic silver medallist Anouk Vetter, brings a pragmatic and athlete-centred approach to training planning and technical skill development. Anouk herself will also join the summit to contribute with her athlete perspective.
  • Fernando Oliva, high performance coach for Atletiek Vlaanderen and a key figure in Belgian combined events, will share his system for improving movement quality and empowering athletes through thoughtful coaching.
  • Nadja Casadei, Swedish heptathlon coach and former national team athlete, will take part in Saturday evening’s panel discussion. Known for her bold and emotionally intelligent approach, Casadei brings valuable perspectives on long-term development, athlete identity, and the power of authentic coaching relationships.

With a blend of philosophy, science, and hands-on methodology, this year’s speakers will offer inspiration and practical tools for coaches working with multi-event athletes at all levels.
